The partnership of the project financed by the European Union, LIFE GreenMe5, has held its first meeting in Murcia. The lead partner of this initiative, which is part of the Green City Accord, is the Federation that brings together the 45 municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
The teams from the institutions of the different participating European cities have visited Murcia to hold the first face-to-face meeting in which the most important aspects of the project were discussed, and to begin all the tasks involved in this project, which will carry out pilot actions on water, waste, air, noise, nature and biodiversity.
The municipal technicians from Murcia, Cieza, Arezzo, Vilnius, and Helsingborg, accompanied by EuroVértice and the Federation of Municipalities as hosts, took advantage of their stay in the region to meet the whole group with whom they will work side by side until 2027.
